Matt Lauterbach

Matt Lauterbach is highly motivated to assist everyone from friends, family, and neighbors to clients both old and new with all their insurance needs. His approach to protecting those clients he works with is to ensure that they are properly insured and finding them the lowest possible rates for that insurance. As an insurance broker he tells all his clients that he works for THEM and not the insurance company.

Matt’s professional career started in Silicon Valley, studying 4 years of electronics in high school and graduating with Honors and then studying electronics engineering at Weber State University. He has brought his work ethic and compassion to his diverse work history. First in the medical device industry in charge of quality for a cardiac defibrillation company in Seattle. Then pursing his heart and passion to become a police officer and eventually working his way through the ranks to Chief of Police. Finally, in pursuit of financial stability for his family, he transitioned into banks and insurance.

He self-studied and passed the insurance producer requirements in Arizona in 2003 and began with one of the largest insurance companies in the country. Working hard from year one, he built the largest agency in Arizona and was consistently one of the Top 10 agencies in the country for the company. He continued his insurance businesses in Arizona until relocating to Colorado in 2019 to assist in the care of his mother. Maintaining households in both Arizona and Colorado allows him to help clients throughout the West. Matt is currently a licensed agent in Arizona, Colorado, and Nevada and joined Direct Insurance Services LLC in early 2020.
